We really enjoyed the Hickory Stick. The ribs were so tender you wouldn't even need teeth to eat them. The beans had just the right amount of spices and the Cole slaw was out of this world. A special thanks to all the sweet ladies that run this fine establishment. We will definitely be back. Very responsible prices, too.

My husband is from Shreveport and we lived in Florida. I heard about this spot for 6 years before trying it... and they do not disappoint!!! There is a very good reason this place is voted best bbq over and over again.

Food and service is excellent. I have been eating here for over 30 years and the food and service is always top notch and the most consistent food quality restaurant I have ever eaten at anywhere bar none. The staff is the friendliest and most professional anywhere and have decades of experience. Do yourself a huge favor and get the beef plate with beans and potato salad with a couple of their complimentary jalapeno's and that's as good as it gets.

Everyone there coming from the kitchen and the front staff was very friendly and had smiles on their faces! This is really a great place! We will definitely be back when we come back to Louisiana!
